What does the Bible tell us when we fear we might be losing our hope?  Where are we to turn, who are we to lean on?        

Why do you think it is that people don’t want Jesus in their lives?  Why does it say in John 1, that Jesus came but they did not receive Him?            

When we have hurt someone, is it enough to just say sorry?  What guidance does the Bible give us on this?

There should be a difference between how the world and Christians deal with conflict.  Is the saying “an eye for an eye” a game that we should be playing?  Should we be playing a game that harms us, just to hurt others?

Christ warned about the mindset of Monopoly, but all board games have some way to measure success: determining how you win or lose. How do measure success in how we live for Christ? How do we know whether we’ve actually stored up treasures in heaven?

Jesus was born in a stable.  But He was born to be King.  There are many people that prefer to keep Him as a baby.  They don’t like the thought of Him becoming King.

The cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but it the main focus of God’s message of salvation. But the cross is not a comforting symbol, so why would God use it as the symbol of our faith?          

In Matthew 28:18 Jesus says “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.”  Hanging on to the power in those words alone.  If all we have is Jesus, well then that is enough.

The storm was raging.  The boat was going down.  The disciples were terrified, but Jesus was sleeping.  Why were the disciples petrified with fear?  And why was Jesus so calm?
