In the last part of Matthew nine, we see Jesus showing us how to reach out to people.  We see the method He uses that drives him toward those that do not know Him.  He encouraged us when He said.  “The harvest is great, but the workers are few.”

If we are not careful we can pay attention to the “good” things in life and be distracted from the best thing that God wants for us.  

How much do we adore God?  Have you ever thought how important it is to tell Him that?          

People seem to be afraid of silence. They do anything to fill their lives with noise and avoid the emptiness. But God says “Be still and know that I am God.” What does that mean for us, and how can we do that?

Holiness shouldn’t be considered a list of dos and don’ts.  Holiness should be sought after with the mindset that we set apart for God’s purpose.  There is beauty in holiness.

Fear of God and holiness seem to go hand in hand in this passage. But why should I “fear God” and what does it matter when I do?

Our heavenly Father calls us to be holy as He is holy.  There is no way I can even begin to become like Him.  How are we to do that?        

Peter speaks about holiness, which means being set apart.  He tells us to set our hope on the grace of Jesus Christ.  How do we know when we have done that?  Where and when do we take our stand?        

Jesus offers to give us a new life, that we can be re-born, given a 2nd chance to set things right.  How does this work, and what can I do to lay hold of that promise?
