It was said that Lazarus was someone that Jesus loved. But how could Jesus treat a friend like He did? Why would He callously stay away while this close friend died… and He could have prevented it?
In scripture we have been told that we are dead. But what killed us? Who is at fault that we are dead?
Isaiah talks of seeing Jesus’ glory. What does that mean for us? And what does that mean we are to do?
When the master gave money to his servants, he expected them to invest what he’d given so that he’d have a return on his investment when he returned. Do we think of our tithe as an “investment opportunity” or simply as a chore to be fulfilled?

Following God’s way and will, might not always feel the best. Often times it can go against the very things we want most. However, we must always remember God wants the very best for us. It is up to us to follow Him, and allow Him to have control of our lives.
Through all the things that happen in our lives. Whether things are unfair, scary, sad, or we have unforeseen changes. Even when things are going good. There is one thing we can always count, that is that God is good. But what does that mean for us?
Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Do we have a tendency to emphasize the wrong word in that verse? Who is it that we should be focusing on?
