Help us pack 30,000 meals for use in disasters in the United States and overseas.
Jesus was in a small group...
I'm just saying!
There is still time to sign up to help pack 30,000 meals for disaster relief on Sunday February 8 at 2:30 pm. We have 22 people signed up so far with just 12 more slots to fill by the 8th. You can sign up at the church or send Pastor Gale an email. I need your phone number and t-shirt size. I hear Celeste is looking at arranging for the bus for transport to the meal site from Pleasantville. It promises to be a great day of fellowship and service. Don't wait too long to sign up. Additionally, if you can't go personally, you can help us financially. It costs just 25 cents to feed a child for a day. The ingredients cost among the 7 churches participating just over $7,000 and Pleasantville is making an offering of a little over $1,000. If you can help financially in this project for the Missions Team there is a donation bucket at the coffee station for contributions or you can give your contribution during Sunday's worship service. Please pray about what you and your family might be able to do to help feed those in need during disasters. Tomorrow we start our activities at 9 am with a time of prayer followed by Sunday School for all ages at 9:30. Adults are continuing their study of the letter to the Philippians - for tomorrow please read all four chapters of Philippians. At 10:30 Worship Workshop will lead us in our Worship Service with the message coming from Philippians 2:12 et seq. "In God's Gymnasium". Come and join us tomorrow! ... See MoreSee Less
